Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This policy applies to online web-to-print orders, uploaded artwork, Canva-linked artwork, design assistance, custom print jobs, signage and related services supplied by Print Shop NSW.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees, remedies or protections that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Custom-made print products

Most products we supply are custom-made to the customer’s specifications. Once design, prepress, artwork checking, material ordering, printing, finishing, packing, courier booking or installation preparation has started, cancellation, refund or change-of-mind return rights are limited.

3. Before production starts

If you request cancellation before artwork/prepress/production starts, we may cancel and refund the order less unrecoverable payment processing, admin, design, prepress or setup costs where applicable.

4. After artwork, Canva or design work starts

Design assistance, Canva-related setup, file checking, artwork repair, prepress and proofing are chargeable once started. If you cancel after this work has begun, those costs may be deducted from any refund.

5. After production starts

After production, material ordering, printing, finishing, packing, courier booking or installation preparation starts, cancellation or refund is generally not available except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Customer-supplied artwork and Canva designs

Refunds or free reprints are not normally provided for errors in customer-supplied artwork, customer-created Canva designs, incorrect sizing, missing bleed, low-resolution images, spelling errors, wrong phone numbers, QR code errors, wrong quantities, wrong product selections, colour expectations not agreed in writing, late approval or unsuitable files approved by the customer.

7. Production faults

If Print Shop NSW causes a production fault, we may inspect the product and provide a repair, replacement, reprint or refund as required by Australian Consumer Law. Claims must be reported as soon as possible with photos, order details and a clear description of the issue. Customers must retain the goods and packaging for inspection where possible. We may not be able to assess a claim properly if the goods are discarded, altered, installed, used further or damaged after delivery.

8. Colour and finishing variation

Normal print, stock, trimming, folding, cutting, finishing and colour variation is not automatically a fault. Exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless agreed in writing before production.

9. Delivery and courier issues

Courier delays outside our control do not automatically qualify for refund. If goods are damaged in transit, notify us as soon as possible with photos of the item and packaging so we can assess the issue.
