Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aunix Australia Pty Ltd trading as Print Shop NSW collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use our website, online store, quote forms, artwork upload forms, Canva design workflow, email, phone or in-store services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, order details, quote details, product selections, artwork notes, uploaded artwork/files, design instructions, payment status, website session/cart details, communication history and support requests.

2. Artwork files and Canva design information

When you upload artwork or use the Design Online/Canva workflow, we may collect and store artwork files, file names, design instructions, Canva design IDs, Canva design titles, Canva view/edit links, design metadata, preview or thumbnail URLs where available, and related order-item references.

We use this information to attach the correct artwork to the correct cart item or order, check files for print suitability, prepare proofs, provide design/prepress support, produce the job, handle reprints and provide customer support.

3. Canva OAuth and third-party services

If you choose to connect with Canva, Canva may ask you to authorise access through Canva’s own OAuth process. Print Shop NSW uses Canva access only for the purpose of creating, linking, viewing or retrieving metadata for the design connected to your print order.

Canva remains a third-party service. Canva account access, Canva user information, Canva templates, licensing and Canva platform activity are also governed by Canva’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control Canva’s platform.

4. How we use personal information

We use information to provide quotes, process online orders, calculate GST and order totals, check artwork, create proofs, produce print/signage jobs, arrange pickup or delivery, contact you about your order, manage payment status, provide support, prevent fraud/spam, improve our website and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe, WooPayments and/or PayPal. Print Shop NSW does not store full credit card numbers on its website. Payment providers may collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Sharing information

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website, host data, process payments, manage email, store or transfer artwork files, provide website/development support, provide Canva integration support, deliver orders, supply materials, perform production support or meet legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information or Canva design data.

7. Data retention

Customer order, artwork and Canva design reference data is retained only as needed for order fulfilment, artwork checking, customer support, reprints, dispute handling, business records, legal obligations, tax/accounting requirements and operational history.

Customers should keep their own copies of artwork. Print Shop NSW does not guarantee permanent storage of uploaded files or Canva references.

8. Access, correction and deletion requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information where legally permitted. Some records, including invoices, payment records, order history, production notes and business records, may need to be retained for legal, accounting, tax, fraud prevention or dispute-resolution reasons.

For Canva-related requests, you may ask us to remove Canva design references from our order records where legally and operationally permitted. You may also need to manage or revoke access inside your own Canva account.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, order data and artwork files. Access is limited to authorised staff and service providers who need the information to operate the website, provide support or complete production. No online system is completely risk-free, so customers should not upload confidential material unless it is required for the print job.

10. Cookies, sessions and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate WooCommerce, remember cart/session details, support checkout, prevent spam, measure website performance and improve user experience.

11. International services

Some third-party services used for hosting, payment processing, email, analytics, file handling or Canva integration may store or process information outside Australia. We use these services only for business and order-related purposes.

12. Access, complaints and response time

We will respond to privacy access, correction or deletion requests within a reasonable time. If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first so we can investigate and respond.

If your privacy concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

13. Data breach and security concerns

If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, reduce risk and notify affected individuals and regulators where legally required.

Security or privacy concerns can be reported through the Contact page or by calling 02 9892 1688.
